Srinagar Temperature Falls At 4.6 Degrees, Kargil Coldest At Minus 15.8 Degree Celsius

Kargil in Ladakh locale was the coldest place in Jammu and Kashmir Monday as least temperature plunged to short 15.8 degree Celsius, MeT Office said on Tuesday.

Cool conditions proceeded in Kashmir valley and Ladakh, while there was some reprieve in the Jammu district.

Qazigund recorded a less 5.3 degree Celsius, Kokernag town was at less 4.8 degree Celsius, Kupwara recorded short 5.9 degree Celsius, Pahalgam settled at less 7.7 degree Celsius, the ski-resort of Gulmarg recorded a less 7.6 degree Celsius, the climate office said.

The valley will encounter dry climate for the week ahead, MeT division said.
